Fact 11: Charity toy drive
A huge donation effort of toys for the children affected by the DANA. This Christmas, we’re very happy to be able to bring a sliver of hope to more than 10,000 boys and girls that live in some of the most heavily damaged areas of Valencia, and we need your #help to achieve this.

Fact 8: Central Kitchen of Barcelona
Our central kitchen of Barcelona at full capacity to make around 10,000 portions of food daily that the @World Central Kitchen of Barcelona (WCK) is distributing in the most affected areas of Valencia.

Fact 7: Carolina Marín
Carolina Marín, an Olympic volunteer in the ground zero area of the catastrophe.
Yesterday we had the great fortune of having the company of #CompassGroupSpain and ScolarestEspaña in the clean-up work for one of the schools affected by the catastrophe, called Colegio Mariano Serra de Aldaia. In addition, a badminton player donated school materials and sporting goods

Fact 6: World Central Kitchen
Compass Group Spain will collaborate with the @World Central Kitchen (WCK) to distribute hot food in the most heavily affected areas of the Valencian Community.

Fact 5: Volunteering
Once again, our teams from Compass Group continue to be an example of solidarity. They again opened the central kitchen of Quart de Poblet at the crack of dawn to hand out more than 2,300 sack lunches with sandwiches, fruit, and water, which will arrive today to the affected victims and volunteers in Aldaia, Chiva, Picanaya, Paiporta, Massanassa, Sedaví, and Catarroja

Fact 4: Delivery of provisions
Thank you, teams! Yet another day, our teams from Compass Group continue to be an example of solidarity and effort in the humanitarian operation benefiting those affected by the DANA. They continue to tirelessly coordinate the arrival of food, water, and essentials in the most heavily affected areas, having been one of the first to arrive.

Fact 3: Our teams
Today, our teams were an example of solidarity. Employees from our kitchens, from our offices in Valencia and other volunteers that managed to get there from other places in Spain, have come together for a single purpose: to bring ready-made meals to thousands of people who lost everything to the DANA.

Fact 2: Distribution of food and water
Our help starts to be distributed in Valencia. More than 79 tonnes of food, water, and essentials will arrive in Valencia starting tomorrow, to different distribution points set up by the government and charities, and to our central kitchen in Valencia.

We are devastated by the catastrophe that occurred in Valencia. We rolled up our sleeves and got to work, getting our help there immediately. The response of businesses and collaboration from citizens are essential in this crisis.
